Competitions

MBF players can participate in national and international competitions if they have a competition license from the Finnish Table Tennis Federation. Finnish Table Tennis Federation from the event calendar upcoming competitions in Finland are visible.

Each player has a rating score according to their level.. A starting player has 700 points and the best players in Finland have over 2500 points. You can buy a competition license from the association's website.If you have any difficulties, please ask the finance manager for help.

 MBF organizes one GP competition annually and – together with PTS Sherwood – 2-3 beginner competitions. In 2025, the GP competition was the “Pongfinity Cup” and it will remain part of the Finnish table tennis competition culture in the coming years. It requires a lot of our club members to organize it.
