HSM table tennis continues in January 2026

Helsinki Hobby Finland Model (HSM) aims to enable every child and young person to have an enjoyable and free hobby during the school day.

MBF holds HSM table tennis lessons where you can learn table tennis underhand and overhand strokes as well as proper serves.

At the Ruskeasuo sports hall, the Olympic Stadium, the German School, the French-Finnish School in Helsinki and the Meilahti Primary School.

HSM The spring season is from weeks 3 to 19. There are no HSM table tennis practices during the spring break week (week 8). In the spring, HSM table tennis is played as follows:

  • 3-4:30 p.m. (max 16 children)
  • 15-16 p.m. Group 1 (3rd-6th graders) (max 24 children)
  • 16-17 p.m. Group 2 (3rd-6th graders) (max 24 children)
  • 16-3 p.m. Group 1 (16th-4th graders) (max 15 children)
  • 17-5 p.m. Group 2 (16th-6th graders) (max 16 children)
  • 2:30-4 p.m. (3rd-4th graders) (max 16 children)
  • 16-17.30:16 p.m. (max XNUMX children)
  • HSM+ the group is Second training session for children and youth players on Wednesday. The HSM+ group trains with their own coach alongside the MBF beginner children and youth training group, led by another coach, which trains in the same gym. The aim of the parallel groups is to lower the threshold for participating in the club's other activities.

Free of charge. Finnish Hobby Model groups are always free of charge.

T-shirt, shorts, indoor sports shoes and a water bottle. Bring your own table tennis racket if you have one. If necessary, the coach will lend you a racket.
