Practising
Exercise and voluntary movement
We organize regular and systematic table tennis training for juniors and adults. The goal of the training is to develop the players' technical, physical and mental skills and to create a foundation for a long-term active lifestyle.
Each training session begins with a warm-up and stretching to prevent injuries and prepare for the actual training. In addition to guided training, we encourage players to exercise on their own as part of their daily lives. This is supported, for example, by joint runs and gym training, which develop general fitness and support the qualities needed in table tennis.
We organize camps both on weekends and during the autumn, winter and summer holidays. The camps offer the opportunity for more intensive training, strengthening team spirit and physical experiences in different environments. We also encourage players to move independently and be responsible in everyday life, for example, traveling to practices and events by public transport or by bicycle.
Several hobbies and other sports besides table tennis can support and strengthen physical fitness and maintain sports motivation.
Training and voluntary exercise together support the players' holistic development and promote an active and healthy lifestyle even outside of table tennis practice.
