MBF.n women's teams in pole position for spring league matches
MBF teams played brilliantly in the women's championship, 1st and 2nd divisions, on October 4-5, 2026 in Ruskeasuo.
The championship team's Kamilla and Ildiko Kadar defeated the pre-season favorites PT-Espoo 3-1 thanks to a great doubles match.
Kamilla played brilliantly all weekend, winning all 11 of their matches with a score of 33-3. MBF lost to TiP-70, and is now tied for second place with PT-Espoo and Tip-70 for the second round next April.
Sanna Pelli and Ge Anne Quinal played on MBF's second team.
The duo won all their games over the weekend, thus taking the top spot in Division 1.
MBF: third team, Eeva Sirola and Paola Estrada Noso, made their debut in the women's series by winning three games, thus placing in shared third place.
It's good to continue this in the spring competitions.
“Our teams had a great feeling, a lot of female power and it was nice to play matches at the same time. This way all our teams encouraged each other,” said Ildiko Kadar.
