Promising young players for MBF

Two promising youngsters complete the MBF team in the Championship series. Leon Viherlaiho, 17, and Madis Moos, 20, joined MBF, who now have a team ready to fight for a playoff spot.
Leon Viherlaiho follows his friend Lassi Lehtola and returns to his old club after a two-year stint at PT Espoo, which allowed him to play at a higher level than what MBF could offer at the time.
Leon lives and goes to school in Luxembourg, where he started playing table tennis at the age of 10. In Luxembourg, he plays for the DT Union club.
“I would like to thank PT Espoo for giving me the opportunity to play at a higher level. At the same time, it feels good to be back at MBF now and I hope to be able to help the team in the Championship.”

Madis Moos is Estonia's most promising table tennis player. The 20-year-old, who plays for TTÜ Sports Club, is ranked fourth in Estonia, the reigning men's doubles champion and third in the men's singles championship. He has previously played in Finland, winning the Finlandia Junior Open two years ago.
“I am really happy to have the opportunity to play in MBF, because playing in a foreign league is a new challenge for me. The level of the championship is tough, so I know I have to play my best to win. That keeps me motivated.”

Previously, the MBF Championship team already included the country's most promising junior player, Lassi Lehtola, and the recent 40-year-old world champions, Marina Donner and Johan Pettersson.

Madis Moos is Estonia's most loved tennis player. The 20-year-old, who represents the TTÜ sports club, is fourth in the Estonian ranking, reigning Master in men's doubles and master's championship in men's singles. He has previously visited Finland with the win at the Finlandia Junior Open for two years.
"I'm very glad about the chance to play for MBF. It's a new challenge for me to play for a foreign club and the level in Finland is high, so it gives me good motivation as I know that I have to play well for Klara."
