MBF plays for Finnish Championship medals
The regular season winner Mejlans Bollförening will play for medals when the Finnish Championship final tournament is decided in Ruskeasuo on Saturday. In the semifinals, MBF will face PT-75 starting at 12:30 and will then play either in the final or the bronze medal match, both of which start at 4:00 p.m.
The club's hopes for its first Finnish Championship medal are high as Lassi Lehtola, Madis Moos and Igor Zavadskyi are all among the best in the series and Johan Pettersson is a doubles specialist on the team., says team leader Thomas Hallbäck.

MBF first reached the championship in 1977 and has played a total of 12 seasons at the highest level of the league. Their best finish was 4th in 1990. Last season, MBF was in 5th place in the league.
Last weekend, MBF was the best club in the Finnish Junior Championship (12 and 13 year olds), so the club's development policy is on a stable course.

Our goal is to be Finland's leading table tennis club., says Chairman Matti Vainio.
It would be great if as many of our club's young players as possible - and why not our older players too - could come and watch from the top table tennis table and cheer on their team to victory in their own yellow club jersey., continue Vainio.
Admission to the Finnish Championship final tournament is free.
