Thank you, Thilo!

Despite his back problems, MBF's Hannover native Thilo led the team to victories. He won almost all of his singles matches and all of his doubles matches with Jorma “Jorce” Lahtinen from Ylöjärvi.

MBF 2 – Smash 4-3
The final match was against Smash, which featured two former MBF players, Mika Rauvola and Anton Mäkinen, along with promising junior player Long Hoang Nhat Nguyen. The match went to a decision in doubles, where MBF strategy specialist Anders Lundström suggested starting the match at 2-2 in the set – to save half an hour. After half an hour, the score was 10-10 in the fifth set…
“It was great playing for MBF. We had a good spirit and fought for every ball together. Thilo was a super fighter today.” -Jorce
Thilo will return to Hannover at the beginning of November. Thanks to him, MBF was promoted to the 1st division last spring and it was great to see how he grabbed every ball in his last league game. Thilo is a role model for all MBF players and we hope that he will be involved in our club's activities in some way in the future.
